Hours & Fees

Have you ever wondered where exactly your childcare fee goes? Most of the in-home family daycare providers have similar expenses and yet, at times as a parent you may be a little confused with the many different rates you find from one provider to the next.

 All in-home family daycare providers are individually owned therefore I am not privileged to their accounting practices. However, I can supply the following information as to where the fee’s that Hugga-Bear Childcare families pay into…..

So… for those who are interested and have the patience to read through it, here is my rundown.

Here at Hugga-Bear Childcare your family will receive quality childcare in a warm family environment. While registered in my daycare, you pay per “position/spot”, meaning your child’s place is held open for them whether they are present or not.

So what does your fee include at Hugga-Bear Childcare???

Fees for running a business – City of Roswell Business License, taxes. Daycare insurance.

Fees for continued training. The state requires a minimum of 10 hours of training per year.

Extra utilities costs incurred by running an in-home family daycare.

Furniture/Home maintenance and repair – lots of wear and tear is involved with operating an in-home daycare.

Cleaning Supplies – I work hard to maintain and keep a clean an orderly space for your child.

General Supplies: paper products, soap, hygiene supplies, first aid material, bug sprays, sunscreen, batteries (we use a lot of these) and all the little extras that I will need.

Equipment: All the items for the daycare room…. All the storage shelves, cubbies, bins, potties, table/chairs. Then the outside play area…. All the cars, bikes, balls, house, slide, and castle.

Toys: Games, puzzles, books, music, dramatic play items, blocks, dolls, trains, phones…. Many items which will be added to an updated regularly.

Office supplies: computer/printers, programs for internet/e-mail, paper, ink cartridges, files and folders.

Healthy meals: diverse lunches and snacks that are nutritionally sound and meet all state required guidelines.
